I like how the most violent character so far is a fairy.

The body count in Axe Cop rises yet again. You have to love these insights into the mind of the Cop. The guy’s a justice junkie.

We should have a Axe Cop counter on the site, and it shows how many bad guys have been killed so far?

Posted by .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)  on  03/04  at  04:27 PM

@Anthony: I was going to say that he killed all the bad guys’ and monkeys, several times. But then I realized that those were all hypothetical. So yes, a counter would be awesome! Though maybe a bit on the morbid side.

“GUT!”

“BRAIN!”

Posted by Ryan  on  03/04  at  05:39 PM

When the “kill all the bad guys” bomb goes off, there will still be a constant influx of new babies that choose evil. Axe cop must stay vigilant! Everyone knows that most babies are evil to start (note: smell, noise, lazy, attention hogs) and only later become good after finding out about the whole head-chopping-off-by-axe-cop thing.

BEST. FAIRY. EVER.

@theCroc,

remember, the evil EVIL EVIL PLANET TINKO!!! was destroyed in a non-hypothetical episode, making the body count HUGE if aliens count. But, one could argue, the creation of 2,000,000,1000 new infant lives by Uni-Avocado Soldier may balance that act out exactly.

BEST. SOUND EFFECTS. EVER.

As a professional author of a children’s book about a dangerous faery with a long knife who takes on bad guys several times her size, I heartily endorse this episode. Go, Best Fairy Ever, go!

...and now I am tempted to write crossover fanfic in which the BFE and my heroine tag-team. *smacks self*

The most impressive thing about this site is that every time something is posted, it escalates on its’ predecessor.

Every time something totally freaking awesome happens, and every time it is somehow even more wonderful than last time.

I love the Best Fairy Ever! But I do wonder—what happened to her antennae from the first two panels? Lost in a terrible fight? Nibbled off by ducks? Left behind in TV land? wink

Posted by Nekussa  on  03/05  at  08:51 PM

@nekussa:

Maybe when Axe Cop reached through the TV, Best Fairy Ever’s antennae fell off.

I wonder: when Axe Cop pulled the fairy from the TV, was she that small because fairies are small, or because TV pictures are so small?  What if he had a giant TV?  Would Best Fairy Ever be even bigger?  Now that’s a force to be reckoned with.

I love the last panel; that would make a killer print or poster.

@Eleanor:

But only a small BFE could do those “flying in through orifices and doing gruesome internal damage” things.

I think I enjoy Ask Axe Cop even more than Axe Cop’s always epic adventures.  What I appreciate is that we get a look into the mind of Axe Cop.  If he wants a fairy on his team he just takes her from a fictional movie and makes her real.  If he wants to kill all the bad guys he buys a magic wand.  His problem solving methods are so unique and brilliant.

I love the last panel! I think I have a new favorite character.
