Did we just get a Babyman origin hint? Is it just me, or is his costume the Babyland mascot? Is it possible that Babyman used to work at Babyland?

Oh man, I smell an origin story for Baby Man revolving around Baby Land. I’m guessing the similarity between his costume and the Baby Land mascot isn’t entirely coincidental.

You know, this explains a lot about why Axe Cop ended up the way he did.
I noticed Flute Cop is absent in this comic. Is he off practicing his flute or something? That would also explain a lot about Axe Cop’s attitude toward him in the main comic.

We’ve actually seen Axe Cop cry once before, in Ask Axe Cop 15, After he realized that he’d killed a good guy.

Shock value is power when you’re a kid, and when you’re a kid, you can joke about almost anything ... because almost nothing is experientially real to you yet.
It’s the same way that young boys are fascinated by the //idea// of massive violence, but those kids actually exposed to real massive violence are as scarred for life as you might expect.

@ 8XCop: Well, if you look in panel two, there’s a fry cook holding a baby, so I’m guessing that the babies are fresh and made-to-order.

If you remember, they were separated early and didn’t know they were brothers until they met back up at the police station.
I have to wonder if this put any tension between Axe cop and Baby man.
