I’m liking how many people are into these short little snippets. 
Don’t get me wrong, I love the drawn out epic tales that Malachai is telling, but there’s something to be said about the short episodes from the beginning of the series.  There’s a magic in their brevity.  While the main series grew, Ask Axe Cop started as a filler, an aside, and it had that same brevitry.  But it grew as well, becoming less of an appetizer and more of a second course.
Again, I’m not complaining.  There hasn’t been an Axe Cop or Ask Axe Cop yet that I haven’t loved (except maaaaaaaaaaybe the one where Axey kills the normal elephant).
I just wouldn’t mind seeing more of these short answers.  Especially if time is of the essence for you, doing single panel gags (in place of mashups) could cut back your work considerably.  It might even let you catch back up to a daily release format, assuming Malachai is cool with delivering the gold.

the only reason I am not on daily release is because we are working on a whole other big project I can’t really specifically talk about yet.

Oh, I’m not complaining about the schedule.  I’m pretty sure everyone is satisfied as long as heads keep rolling.  I was just observing that each of these short answers is funny enough to stand on its own.

At first I thought the post was serious then I cracked myself up. Axe Cop is surely full of surprise.

That first panel causes me so much mirth! The random-yet-straightforwardness of the answer. How infantile the guy with the mask looks who’s surprising Axe Cop. The perfect hilarity of the way Axe Cop looks as he melts. It’s just one of those situations where all the parts work together perfectly to make a beautifully hilarious moment.

...And the humorousness continues when I imagine the reaction of the little whelp who thought it would be funny to startle Axe Cop. The horrifiedly remorseful look on his face as he hears Axe Cop’s gurgling cries and takes off his mask to see the oozing puddle that is all that remains of Axe Cop…It’s just too good.
