Revise that last line. Two for the price of one.
What would we do without the cake shop
That driver’s license is a treasure trove.
What you don’t know is that the state on the driver’s license is actually Waxenington.
Apparently, Axe Cop was born this year. Unless DOB means something different in Axe Cop ‘verse.
Must…have…AxeCop keychain
Also, pretty sure I’m going to have to print out a picture of Wexter to keep in my wallet in front of my niece’s picture.
And cheers to Axey for being an organ donor!
Of course, now any AxeCop cosplayer encountered will be asked to empty their pockets. You’ve had fair warning.
Those are badass fairies. Also, love how there’s a question mark on eyes on his driver’s license.
Oh geez, this makes me think an Axe Cop fighting game would be the greatest thing ever.
Axe Cop carries within his pocket the means by which to “kill half the world of bad guys” at least ten time over, but the only weapon reported on his driver’s license is an axe.
Well, I suppose that a reusable dynamite firecracker -is- rather inconspicuous . . . this must be why “it’s called a secret attack.”
Axe Cop’s real name is Axey Smartist?! Did we already know this? Well, it fits.
I wasn’t crazy about the cake shop’s last album but the earlier ones were solid
Malachai sure likes fairies. Is there a particular reason why since they are about the only female characters in this comic.
I would think fairies show up a lot because they are such a great plot device when wildly disparate ideas need to be linked or something cool just needs to happen RIGHT NOW. Sometimes you can almost hear Ethan starting to ask for some clarification on how something occurred and then little bro stiff-arms him and plays the fairy card.
Malachai always says Axe Cop doesn’t like any girls EXCEPT FOR FAIRIES. So, it is just Axe Cop’s preference.
are these other fairies jealous of the best fairy ever because she is better than they are
Does the house key fairy sometimes take a few tries before she creates a keyhole that corresponds to the actual key?
only two friend photos-yet look at all those “myself” photos. Axe cop is a little self-centered, much?
Gotta say, I love how you draw in general, Ethan, but the way you draw fairies is just awesome.
I think machine gun fairy is my new favorite. The sub-machine gun, glasses, and tough girl attitude seals it. I hope we get to see her again sometime.
I’d spring for a wall calendar with 12 original fairies drawn by Ethan and fresh from the mind of Malachai
Having suffered a bit through a Disney Tinkerbell adventure DVD, the Ethan/Malachai Brand Fairies are just a breath of fresh air.
I am loathe to make requests as I much prefer you guys do whatever you do, but I would be most intrigued by an Axe Cop Presents featuring Best Fairy Ever and her team of Fairies in an adventure. (plus a cameo from Sockerang as their little tragicomic love story ranks among my favoritest of Axe Cop tales.)
If there was an axe cop video game, it’d have to either be a sandbox or a beat em up.
There’s just not many genres that can contain this much awesome.
Two for the price of one is a pretty good deal for Axe Cop, since he needs two cakes.
“Just the way I want them”
=
“One full of poison and the other with a candle of me holding two axes.”
Also, I like the Axe Fairy’s hairstyle. She looks like a proper librarian or schoolteacher “Take out your axes and put your pencils away, class.”
It needs to be said: Machine Gun Fairy is the hotness.
Behind every great cop there’s… a great fairy?
You fool! You’ve unwittingly given me Axe Cop’s signature! Muaahahahaha! Now I can forge documents as Axey Smartist! Later. losers…
