This is by far the best Ask Axe Cop.
SCROMF!
Oh man.. this is all kinds of pure epic win.
At first I thought was just going to be another “Here’s how I kill bad guys” deal… but then things took a completely unexpected turn.
But now we have Ghost Axe Cop in addition to Ghost Cop!
“He’s inside Frank!” may now be the best quote ever from AC.
There’s a small typo in the first panel. Axe Cop says “Yes. a couple of times I have discovered secret attacks I DID know I had during fights.” It should be didn’t or did not know.
I like that in the second panel the bad guy’s shirt says “evil” on it. Got to love the ghost cop attack.
I will eat you!
Axe Cop’s Ghost = Painis Cupcake?
The panel with Axe Cop’s ghost consuming the bad guy is by far one of my favorite illustrations to date, along with Abe Lincoln and the zombie head eater.
Everything about this makes me happy—in particular, I shall have to remember the first panel for the next time in which I am attacked by two parallel lines of bad guys.
Axe Cop just jumped the freaking shark.
Axe Cop jumped the shark…? I don’t think you know what that term means.
I think the way Ghost Axe Cop’s jaws unhinged in panel 10 is going to give me nightmares…
So incredibly happy right now. That was so great. Favorite Ask Axe Cop by far.
I missed seeing axe cop chop heads off. ;__;
My question: Does Ghost Axe Cop mean it literally when he says he’ll kill EVERYONE when Axe Cop is tied up?
Like, if Dinosaur Soldier and Ralph Wrinkles showed up to rescue Axe Cop, but he was still tied up, would they get CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE
sorry about the typos on this, I can’t fix them until I get back from Norway. I was super exhausted when I was typing this one up.
Why do bad guys even exist in this world? Why would someone even try to fight Axe Cop? It’s an automatic death sentence.
I love the ghost axe cop thing but I think my favorite is the fact that axe cop’s arm hairs are really tiny swords. EPIC.
Just when I think Axe Cop might be getting just a wee bit stale, Malachai and Ethan sideswipe me with arm hair swords and “scromf”.
The violence in Axe Cop conjures warm memories in my heart of Mad Magazine in the 80s. It used to depict violence in very similar ways and with a similar sort of anarchic humour. I have no doubt that Sergio Aragones, Don Martin, as well as Kurtzman and Gaines would have been HUGE Axe Cop fans.
I want to know how the heck these guys managed to tie Axe Cop up in the first place. He must have really been off his game that day.
It was alll part of the plan…
Haha cool
