How is Axe Cop so shocked? He fought an evil magician who rode a gorilla riding a lion, for god’s sake.
I think the fact that it was in a wardrobe was the shocker.
I have never cared about Narnia until right now.
I love how he pet the little beaver guy
Yes.
YES YES YES
“The lion was speechless” = Best. Panel. Ever.
I love the look on the “speechless” lion’s face.
MWahahahahaha! Welcome to SCANDINAVIA!

The world of Narnia is about to get dramatically improved. Aslan, meet Wexter.
I love that rhino in the ultimate battle panel.
Every panel in this comic is the best ever! I love how your brother interprets Narnia. I laughed quite loudly and disturbed everyone around me. I intend to promote Axe Cop’s Narnia adventure to everyone alive.
Since Aslan is pretty much God, does this mean Axe Cop is literary working for the Lord now?
Things I love:
1) Axe Cop’s trophies (the jumping one in particular,)
2) the fact that this is just another “ultimate battle,”
3) the penultimate panel,
4) and Axe Cop nonchalantly saying, “Don’t worry, I’ll go get my team.”
I have a feeling that this will turn out to be yet another “Best Ask Axe Cop -Ever-.”
Doesn’t he realize he’s talking to a proxy of Jesus?
I mean, shouldn’t he call Jack and John for this? They should have some kind of vague connection.
It’s a shame this ultimate battle has to be relegated to an Ask Axe Cop segment.
Best Fanfiction. Ever.
I guess Axe Cop and Beaver connect on that primal CHOP level.
This is the finest Axe Cop cliffhanger since “Army Chihuahua used to be a man…”
Love the surly-looking Narnia kids.
In a single page, you and Malachai have crafted a fine parody of The Lion, Witch, and Wardrobe. It was so simple - have the kids behold Narnia and yawn. That’s right up there with, “on second thought, let’s not go to Camelot. It is a silly place.”
So Axe Cop likes petting the beaver…...Heh Heh beaver…
That “Speechless” lion might be one of my favorite panels ever.
Indeed, one of Ethan’s many gifts is drawing realistic animal faces with recognizable human emotions.
Admittedly I google an image of a real lion and do a rough trace over it to get the proportions correct, then I do my version on top of that. That’s not out of my head, but thanks for the compliment. In situations like that panel, where it is really important for the story and the joke that the lion look as real as possible, I resort to what some might consider partial tracing.
“They liked my world better.” Video games.
Oh, such social critique.
Aslan looks so heartbroken in that second to last panel!
