Hey Axe Cop, maybe you should have a light snack before you go into ultimate battles so you don’t eat bad guys’ faces!
I like how Aslan, Mr. Tumnus and the rest of the forces of good have absolutely no problem with all the cannibalism and over-the-top gore that is part of Axe Cop’s everyday life.
Eat her face off, turn her inside out, have a lion eat her guts, and forward her brain to the devil via heaven. It’s the only way to be sure.
“At the end of the fight I invited everyone in Narnia to my house to have party.”
For some reason, that typo made me read that line in a Russian accent. Weird.
Looks like it’s fixed now. Or maybe I had a stroke that made me ignore the “a”. Who knows? Good episode though. Well done.
My guess is that’s because they’re afraid of what might happen if they object to Axey’s face.
It never fails. No matter how hard I try to envision what will happen, Malachai outsmarts me. This is just so incredibly crazy and good at the same time. Face eating? Geez! Also, I love how Axe Cop has to turn her inside out in order for Aslan to eat her guts. Apparently only Axe Cop can chew through skin!
You would think Satan would have a use for those brains. I guess evil has standards too.
CS Lewis, let me introduce you to the awesome!!
What can I say. The conclusion did not disappoint in the LEAST. I grew up reading the Narnia books as a kid, and it has now been forever changed for me. Changed…and made MORE AWESOME.
I’ve never read the Narnia books, but if they were more like this, I totally would.
Nitpick- “a unicorn HORN on a griffin’s head”.
Hmm, thinking back Ethan’s defense of Malachai’s violent imagination as being based on cartoon worlds. I can see how punching or blowing up a baby is fine in that sort of cartoon world, but I’ve never seen bugs bunny eat someone’s face off. Although I wouldn’t mind seeing that. As long as it’s okay with both heaven and satan, of course.
“Change can be gratifying to longterm readers for that reason, but it can also have the affect of making the characters less appealing to new readers”.
I…never understood that reasoning.
Why does everyone have to be young and unnatached to appeal to “new readrs”.
How did Spidey ever get a fandom in the first place with that icky old Aunt May and Uncle Ben in the first issue?
Geez, implicit in the very existenc eof every human(oid) character is that someone somewhere screwed, and gave birth.
Why the hell couldn’t Spidey aghe realistically, and hand it off to his kids?
Soaps did that all the time, and they alsted decades, so some newbies must have been getting on board.
No, I agree with thos ewho blame it on crappy/lazy writers.
D’oh, paste memory didn’t save my original post, that was something else, delete that last one, and this one, wouldja?
What is this I don’t even.
Axe Cop is getting more and more violent. It’s… kind of creepy. Yes, he’s always been violent, but I’m pretty sure he hasn’t eaten someone’s face off when he wasn’t a zombie.
On the other hand, seeing Satan chuck a brain into the trash can made it worth it. No afterlife for the White Witch, just having her brain removed and physically placed in Hell.
This is the Narnia CS Lewis WANTED to write, but didn’t have the awesome to do so.
The rest of the unicorn is now inside the griffin.
Haha that was so awesome. CS Lewis would be proud.
Nitpick #3: “all the bad guys’ heads off”
This is… I lack words. I hope Jewel was given his horn back when it had finished being used to pimp Axe Cop’s ride.
Technically, the White Witch isn’t actually human according to Narnia canon. But then again, Axey doesn’t seem to have a problem with caniballism anyway. (And Aslan is a lion, so like Wexter it makes sense for him to eat bad guys.)
Hey, wait, did Axe Cop get any witch blood on him? Now Ask Axe Cop #13 suddenly makes sense!
With everything else so awesome, I forgot to mention - LOVE the Uni-Griff and hope it recurs as a character.
I want a wallpaper of that center panel.
