Did Malachai’s idea of the hero suit turning you evil while you slept possibly come from Spider-Man’s symbiote experience?

I guess this would make me a good and bad guy.  I don’t think the front kick should be TOO low.  A nice blow to the chest is always good.

Also, I was going to echo Nate’s question. The Spider-Man symbiote suit was where my mind immediately went. They ran that storyline on the cartoon I watched Saturday mornings as a kid and it scared the living daylights out of me. I thought it was awesome, but it was terrifying, and I was kinda fixated on Venom for awhile.
