awesome cover dude. Seeing that they are all wearing the same color, am i correct in assuming that this series is going to harken back to the original comic series? (as opposed to the tv series which introduced seperate colors)

—That is awesome—

I -lived- for the original Ninja Turtle series when I was young, and this makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Is it just me, or were you able to capture the entire personality of each turtle on his facial expression alone?

Super great cover! Just goes to show you don’t need the mask colors when you can give their faces such personality

I don’t know why but for some reason, I can tell it’s your drawing whenever I see the close up of a character’s profile on the corner. I don’t know why but I see that as a sort of trademark of your art style.

Dude, Ethan, your cover rocks. I too grew up on Ninja Turtles. The Eastman and Laird stuff, the cartoon, the Archie comics series, the movies, the RPG, every game (including the original NES one with the impossible dam level)...it was all part of my childhood.

Your rendition of them is one of my favorite depictions of the brothers EVER. As that other guy mentioned, you’ve captured their personalities perfectly, and the way you’ve drawn them is a sublime blend of their original look and the more cartoony look from the show, expertly combining the best of each. What now, get your own TMNT title? PLZ!?!?!

haha thanks guys, I’m glad you caught the personalities in their faces, I have loved the turtles and for different periods of my childhood i have pretended I was each one.

Kevin Eastman is a big Axe Cop fan, he is siuper supportive of the book and has been really helpful and kind to me.  He’s a fellow head chopper.

Turtles is one of the few comics I would be excited to draw.

I know I’m late to the “Awesome!” party, but being able to do the art for TMNT is a crazycool opportunity. Congrats!
