I love how a major focus of storytelling is describing what people can do.. that is exactly how I still think to this day. Everything I write is 90 percent ‘this is this character and they can do this’ and that is why Axe Cop appeals to me.
When someone has the name Chicken Head, the orthodox mind gets through quite a few possibilities before arriving at ‘a chicken with a human head’.
Malachai is clearly gifted.

BEEW is up there in my favorite Axe Cop sound effects. I can’t help but make mouth laser sounds silently to myself now, even though I’m in the library.
If it is not bad enough that they shoot drills out of their mouths, if they get close they will even bite you! Granted, this will force you to join their ranks . . .
Also, I cannot help but imagine that in panel four, Chicken Head is saying, “IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR!!!”
I pity the fool that doesn’t mourn Sgt. T.

I think I recognize this page’s villains from the NES era.
Your full til action and stories are always so awesome. There is so much raw fun energy in every panel. Ax Cop puts the “fun” back in reading comics & helps push the medium in new directions. Seriously.
Chicken Head is now my favorite villain.
