Why is there a magic show in a world where everyone can do magic?

I find it funny that Axe Cop and Dinosaur soldier are kind of being bad guys right now. Abusing Unibaby, escaping from the magic world police, and stealing spell scrolls. Seems pretty bad guyish to me.

@Jiggity_John: It’s the world of Axe Cop. “Bad Guy” isn’t something you do: it’s something you are. Axe Cop and Dinosaur Soldier front-kick like good guys, and therefore are good guys. Simple.

Why do I have the feeling that this is going to end with a few hundred magicians being poisoned, transformed, or otherwise completely incapacitated?

SO egalitarian.. I love it.. we stole 20 so we could each have 10. Who says this comic doesn’t teach any good lessons?

@James well, technically we never saw their front kicks, but I see your point.

Oh man.  I’m just now realizing that Dinosaur Soldier only has a tail some of the time o_o

@James: I’ll try to field this one too. In the case of the Wrestler, he had to be with his own team, and they’d been run through the bad guy machine. Community is important. Are you saying it’s not? Don’t you want to be part of our fine community? (just kidding, but you get the idea)

Hasta Mia was hit with a potion to make her good. Potions can do anything. Consider Bad Guy Earth, where [spoiler redacted by writer for the four people who haven’t read it, but I assure you the example is relevant].

@Jiggity__John & ColdFusion: “Took,” not “stole.”  Only bad guys steal.  Axe Cop and Dinosaur soldier will probably give them back or already left something even better behind.  The shopkeeper is just mad because they aren’t magicians.

The city scene in the second panel and the bunny hedges remind me of Traverse Town in Kingdom Hearts.  If I were on Magic World I’d be running all over the place and taking whatever wasn’t nailed down also.  Sorry, Mom.

I love the image of Axe Cop and Dinosaur Soldier running madly off into Magic World in panel 2. I imagine them yelling “Woop! Woop! Woop!” as they go for some reason.
