I’m not sure which is better, Dinosaur Soldier in the magic outfit or Axe Cop’s amazing magic mustache. I love it!

So far this story is so meaningless as the transformers dark of the moon movie… I love it!

Brilliant. I really hope that there’s a t-shirt with Dinosaur Soldier dressed as a magician somewhere in the future.

They’re going to see right through Dinosaur Soldier. He doesn’t have a Snidely Whiplash moustache.

So a big dinosaur disguises himself as a magician. I can’t wait to see people actually fall for this. :D

Oh, and nitpick: “Alright” isn’t a word. It’s “All right.”

Are the magic police -supposed- to look like Axe Cop and Flute Cop, or did that just sort of happen?

Ethan, any idea as to when this (and the Funny Episode and Bad Guy Earth) take place during the whole Axe Cop timeline? Is it after the Ultimate Battle, when we had Drag-Trighostacops Rex? Or does it take place during a time between Dinosaur Soldier and Avocado Soldier?

If it’s after the Ultimate Battle, when and how did he return to being Dinosaur Soldier (with Axey making him Ghost Cop again…)?

These are important questions!

POUNCH!

Even measured against the extraordinary collection of onomatopoetic genius Ethan has exhibited throughout the series, this one shines.

While I usually prefer the now-characteristic “ironic onomatopoeia” employed in Axe Cop (e.g.  LATCH!, WISH!, SEIZE!, STAB! STAB! STAB!), this one just stands out from the crowd.

My internal monologue: “Did he just punch that magician mid-pounce? Did a single punch hit so hard it verged on a pounding?”

Then I had to get a tissue, as blood had started trickling from my ears - my mind literally blown.

For the briefest of moments I considered it might be a typo, but there’s no way Axey Smartist would permit such a thing. If he noticed this punch sounded a little different than usual I’m sure he chalked it up to personal awesomeness and moved on.

I love how the Magic Police look like an alternative universe versions of Axe Cop and Flute Cop. :D

Haha I think those two cops look like Ac and FC because I basically only draw about 4 dudes any time I draw a cop.

@MGBeach I appreciate the detailed commentary on POUNCH.  It just felt right when I typed it as a sound.  I wanted it to feel like I was combining “POUND!” and “PUNCH!”.  I imagine it sounding like a heavy meat-slammer sound mixed with the whimsical dropping hit of a tympani.

Please never change Dinosaur Soldier out of that costume. It is for the good of all things.

Thank you.

I’m fairly sure Axe Cop has transcended good and evil by this point.
