“THEN HE SHOT POISON A THEM OUT OF HIS EYES” Oh no a typo?
A sacrificial lamb for the greater plan?!
Yay Mr. Stocker!!!!
Oh man, that giant evil head is pretty terrifying.
NOT MR.STOCKER!
That giant evil head is pure nightmare fuel.
Poor Mr. Stocker… Oh well, hopefully he’ll somehow come back to life again a hundred episodes from now.
I LOVE how the giant head has some beefy arms added on!
First the angry-happy-faced mermaid… now Mr. Stocker… Hopefully he shall receive as much honorable mourning for his sacrifice as the former.
And then the poison just doesn’t do anything, or else doesn’t hit anything.
@Godbot: No, no, no, you’ve got it all wrong; the giant evil head didn’t shoot poison -at- them, he shot it -a- them, which is completely different! ![]()
Also, sacrificing Mr. Stocker so as to dodge the wrath of a bad guy reminds me of the last time I played Axe Cop Munchkin.
Making the hero conflicted enough to go against his moral code is a recurring motif in superhero stories. However, I can’t remember a time when the hero was that quick and carefree giving it up.
I’m going to hazard a guess that lopping off a random guy’s head on the spot will convince them that he’s a legit bad guy. Oh, I’d hate to be you when you realize he’s Axe Cop!
NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NOT MR.STOCKER HE IS COOL
Super Hero with no super powers about to loose his head right next to a giant evil head.
To be fair, Axe Cop probably has several ways of bringing Mr. Stocker back to life…
...if whatever he’s about to do is meant to kill him at all.
Also, dinosaur is misspelled.
“and Axe Cop decided to go undercover as bad guys.”
There should be an “and Dinosaur Soldier” in there somewhere, I think.
MR. STOCKER, NOOOOOO…!
Pretty sure that actually does make him a bad guy. That evil head is clever.
Hmm…if the bad guy is a head, then how is Axe Cop going to kill him? He can’t chop his head off.
Great panel, but you must have been really tired when you wrote the text. Dinosaur is misspelled at the top. It says “a them” instead of “at them” in the panel with the eye poison shooting. Also, it seems like it should say “and Axe Cop decided THEY should go undercover” - unless just Axe Cop is going undercover as a bad GUY.
I frequently laugh at most installments of Axe Cop, but rarely as hard as when Mr Stocker, the superhero with no powers, showed up just as Axe Cop needed to prove he was a bad guy.
The guys at South Park could learn a lesson from about how to wrest comedy gold from the guy who exists just to die funny.
I was just rereading Bad Guy Earth, and noticed something interesting. Look at the last page of number 3. Probably just an easter egg, but funny nonetheless
*spoler?* It would seem that Mr. Stocker is already dead. Look at the tombstone next to Sockarang’s Mom’s.
So excited (and saddened) at the return (and demise) of Mr. Stocker. Easily the best character.
He was a super hero with no super powers. He wanted to make a difference and he did! His sacrifice will allow Axe Cop to save the day. In a way…. he is the greatest hero of all time. The one we deserve… but not the one we need right now. So we’ll kill him…. because he can take it…. he’s our guardian angel…. he is…. Mr. Stocker
