But seriously, there has to be some strings you can pull in order to create some sort of massive Dark Horse crossover with Axe Cop, Usagi, Hellboy and the Goon teaming up.

Ethan said on Facebook that Dark Horse (the company that publishes the Axe Cop books, and also many other fine comics like Hellboy, Dr. McNinja, Usagi Yojimbo, The Goon and the Star Wars comics)gave Malachai a Hellboy action figure, and this is the result. Other gifts/bribes Malachai has received from Dark Horse include Little Lulu comics (resulting in Malachai’s morbid fanfic seen here: http://axecop.com/index.php/acpresents/read/axe_cop_presents_6/) and an Usagi plushie that Malachai calls a “ninja rabbit”.

I wonder if Ethan’s friend Doug TenNapel would appreciate the fact that my very first experience with Earthworm Jim was in the video game level where he goes to Hell and fights Evil the Cat… then I see this page and it’s the first thing it reminds me of. Hooray for full circle awesomeness!
I just got home from vacation—and what do I see? Hell Chicken. That is just fantastic.

This is just great. It’s… just great. Somehow Axe Cop manages to keep topping itself.
I want panel 4 on a t-shirt. The caption, along with Ultimate Man’s advice, is the best isolated moment in anything ever. (Made better by the fact that Ultimate Man is out of nowhere, yet we’re talking about him like he’s a well-established character).

I was really digging Poison Flower Man and then he dies literally one panel after he is introduced. Then along came Hell Chicken’s bullshooting rock hand and all was forgiven. Hopefully Hell Chicken survives at least until mid-June.
This is my favorite Axe Cop page in a long time. Well done! Hell Chicken has a secret… (I’m guessing he probably has a few).
