This is the most drama I think I’ve ever seen in an Axe Cop episode.

Well, at least it was on mostly amicable terms.

This is great!  Reminds me a bit of the realistically-drawn make-believe soap opera parodies from Calvin and Hobbes.

Lincoln likes elephants because they’re just like him.. kinda oversized, kind of ugly, but still ruggedly good-looking..
I wonder if Axe Cop will get alimony.. presidents make kind of a lot..

I love how this turned from superhero origin story to absurd soap opera in less than two pages.

If he did get alimony, would it be in 1865 dollars?

Boy, if Abraham Lincoln likes elephants so much, Axe Cop must not have told her about the incident with Psydrozon at the non-fighting zoo.

I don’t know what to say about this one—it’s so heartfelt—and yet so hilarious at the same time, especially the “P.S. I’m not at the zoo.” bit.

P.S. I see a historical inaccuracy here, and we know how important that is to this series.  The real “Honest Abe” would not lie about being at the zoo.

yeah but you have to admit it is pretty funny that he made Abe at least a really bad liar.
