Oh snap. Axe Cop always knows when there is a surprise ahead.
Finally, the mystery of Axe Cop’s antennae solved!
Hey, what happened to Axe Cop’s lob…. oh.
But now we have a cliffhanger, since guest strips start tomorrow! Gasp!
ALL of the zombies on Zombie World are behind a fence? I assume that Zombie World is well populated with zombies, and so the fenced in area must be rather large, particularly as the zombies have enough room lumber around (though they are in shackles, this is not unusual for a zombie). Since Zombie World is essentially a sphere, the only way to fence in a large enough region is to construct a closed fence with a small perimeter. One then defines the larger region to be the inside. However, this means that from the perspective of zombies and the Robot Zombie Boss, Axe Cop and his team are, in fact, inside of a -small- fenced in region! WAIT A MINUTE—AXE COP’S RIGHT! THE ROBOT ZOMBIE BOSS IS TRICKING THEM; IT’S A TRAP!!!
Nice handwave there.
Nice fix. I love that this is a world in which “they’re retractable!” is not an off-putting fix, but actually one of the more rational things to occur.
“Retractable”—that was bound to happen sooner or later
EEEEWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! cAN’T WAIT FOR MORE
Ethan, I hate you….for making a creature so epic that I wish it was real and that I could have one… :|
(I know you didn’t create him, per say, but I can’t hate Malachai, he’s too awesome)
“a creature so epic”
Isn’t he though? **sigh**
I want like a plush doll of Dragon-Wexter and also a resin statue…
But deep down, nothing will ever assuage the longing for him to be real so I can have one too :(
Wait a minute, does this mean that the boss robot zombie has a secret attack?
Me thinks that first line of dialogue came from the artist and not the writer
This comic is overloaded whit AWESOMNESS :D!!!
uff.
I was done drawing those freakin antennas.
@Ethan:
Did Malachai come up with that? Not that it’s a problem either way, but I’m just curious.
The white silhouette with the rocket clouds spewing behind Wexter and the comet flying by zombie world. Lovely.
Axe Cop may have retracted his antenna, but they sense danger all the same. Or maybe Axe Cop’s police training just makes his senses just that more intuitive.
LMAO retractable antenae, I remember u talking about getting rid of em lol. OMG OMG OMG I have been WAITING for this upcoming cross over on 7/26 (well 8/2/10 for this site!) I’m soooo friggin pumped. Ethan can I please post whats coming up if you haven’t already announced it!!!!
boo nvmd i just saww the little post in the blog for the cross over. OH WELL!!! I’M STILL PUMPED!!!!!! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS DAY SINCE I FIRST READ AXE COP!
@Aaron:
My thinking exactly!(well not quite because I was thinking it in less words…)
@Me:
WAIT A SECOND, WAIT A SECOND, WAIT A SECOND, WAIT A SECOND, It might be a different trap!!! Zombie world is shaped like a zombie head, right? right! well, what if zombie world is actually a HUGE ZOMBIE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Where’s the pug?
@MZ: “Where’ the pug?”
He’s retractable as well
@Me: “WAIT A SECOND, WAIT A SECOND, WAIT A SECOND, WAIT A SECOND, It might be a different trap!!! Zombie world is shaped like a zombie head, right? right! well, what if zombie world is actually a HUGE ZOMBIE!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!” come to think of it, “Eggy Eggy” probably hatches into a zombie body!
@MZ, Ralph wrinkles is not a pug, I think he’d be offended if he heard that.
