BONK!
So is Bat Warthog Man a legacy character or is this guy as crazy as Axe Cop?
I LOVE THIS! An Ask Axe Cop carries over to a story! And what an epic character! And you’re making comics again! Could this day get any better???!
I got a feeling those two animals are going to be bleeding on our hapless hero very shortly.
After bad guys steal his friend, he goes searching for the magic bat and warthog wearing a suit and tie. What class!
I would just like to point out what an evocative title this story has.
Now THIS is what I call a shocking origin story.
Could this be an inauspicious beginning for our costumed hero? I mean, he has been chosen by a very… clumsy bat and warthog?
And Axe Cop’s kitty catsuit is still beautiful. I wonder if he’s planning a cat burglary on a jewellery store to get their candy, or has Halloween night already passed?
Panel 4 looks like some bizzare twist on Batman and Catwoman…
I love the look on BWman’s face in the last panel. He looks so ANGRY at how the bat and the warthog collided.
“For pete’s sake the bat and the warthog hit each other I REALLY DIDN’T NEED TO DEAL WITH THIS TODAY!”
Man, in this town, if you don’t want superpowers, you gotta carry around an umbrella wherever you go to shield yourself from all the magical blood raining down.
Typo: “But to then something came at me in the dark”
Extra “to”.
It’s the best two-animal combo.
I wonder if his friend is a bat warthog T-Rex?
The human version of BWman looks like Rod Serling, which really fits well with this origins story!
ha, he DOES look like Rod Serling!
I love how well drawn the realistic warthog is, whereas bat warthog man’s face is more stylized :D
Woah, it IS Rod Serling. So does this mean this is actually an unusually weird episode of The Twilight Zone? Will there be an ironic yet pretty predictable twist ending? Nah, there’s not such thing as irony or predictable in the world of Axe Cop.
I love the look on BWman’s face in the last panel. He looks so ANGRY
