Also, I’m really not all that surprised that Axe Cop is the smartest man in the world. Assuming that Uni-Man is back on Uni-World, of course.

I would expect nothing more from a guy named Axey Smartist but to be the smartest man in the world. Uni-Man doesn’t count as a “man” because he’s an alien. A good-guy alien, but still an alien.

This is such a perfect blend of Axe Cop and Dr. McNinja. I’m just so happy to be here experiencing it.

I’d love to say I saw this coming, but Dr. Stinky Head?  Argh!

Then again, I rarely see any of this coming.  Important to note, losing one’s force shield makes one less smart.  Glad my force shield is fully in tact - phew!  Though being more buff… hmmm…

Okay, I can’t be the only one who thought of Ninja Turtles here, can I? Goo leading to a manhole cover where secret monsters are stealing all the pizzas? I mean, I’m sure TMNT aren’t on Malachai’s radar, but come on.

well the pizza premise came from Hastings, but the goo, the manhole cover and secret monsters was all Malachai.  And Malachai loves the Turtles… I made sure of that.

The six-year-old justification for double outfits had me in a fit again.  Somehow Dr. McNinja doesn’t sound out of character even though his dialogue is obviously written by someone else.  Malachai is just a natural.

The look on stinkyhead’s face is priceless.

I was trying to come up with stats for Dr McNinja and his cohorts and Axe Cop and his, just yesterday! I had Dr McNinja with a higher intellect than Axe Cop. I guess I was wrong???

I figured Axe Cop made up for lower intellect with greater fighting prowess. There’s got to be something McNinja’s better at…
Anyone?

Dr. Stinky Head looks like a Bond villain from that angle.  Somehow.  Just…yeah.

Also, you’re a smart man, Ethan, what with your indoctrinating TMNT into our future generation like that.

I think “Smartest Man in the World” means “One Of the Smartest People in the World.” It’s like Axe Cop has earned the highest possible amount of smart points and maxed out his stats in that category, but five other guys may have done that too, so they are all tied for first place until the limits change.

That was the logic I always used as a kid (a strange, geeky kid).

@Dave: Intelligence is not measured by how much stuff you know, but rather by the ease with which you can learn new stuff and how creative you are when using it. That being said, though Axey may be smarter than McNinja, the good doctor clearly knows more science, especially X-rays.

Who called out the pizza flipper from the previous strip? Thunderwhalepicnic? Judging by the mask that Stinky Head just took off, I’d say that you were right!

Also, who dropped their cellphone in the goo?

From this moment on, whenever anyone asks me how I know something, I’m just going to answer “I’m the smartest man in the world.”  What a great way to lay followup questions to rest.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, but everything about these three comics so far is great.  Secret monsters down manholes with x-rays and double monster suits.  I don’t know why, but I cannot stop smiling.

I’m enjoying this cross-over quite a bit, and look forward to reading on.  Young Malachai is quite the story teller, and I hope this creativity of his only grows.
