The problem wit Axe Cop based titles is that the comic is constantly changing. For all we know, the Moon Warriors could end up being bad. Malachi’s mind does not support continuity if another idea seems fit. Besides, maybe I like being a Sr. Member :( Makes me feel special for posting so much.

It’s just a ranking, who cares if it ends up taking a turn? Even if the Moon Warriors turn out bad or something, they still have already proven how badass they are, and even just “Moon Warrior” is just a really cool title. It’s not like this is stamping how each character is getting viewed from now on or something. (If that were to be used for one, I’m just using Moon Warriors as an example.)

Even if some of the ranks end up being from part of an episode, that never gets brought up again- Cool Outdated Ranking > Generic Base Title.

Maybe instead of character names it could be the levels of power, such as the Unicorn and Fire.

Good idea. There’s many possibilities, even though only two of mine were characters, and they were just examples anyhow.

I’m just saying- something unique would be nice is all.

That’s what happens when the post is on the other page and I am tired, I forget what you said… But yeah. I think these are fine, but I am curious what the rest are. For all we know, maybe the upper levels ARE based on Axe Cop. Just that no one has gotten there yet.

A suggestion for forums/comments in general: Can the Subscribe thing be defaulted as not on? Or at least have it as a profile setting or something. Just a thought. I love the website, and I check the forums often, but I don’t need to subscribe to anything, so I am unchecking it every time I comment.

Oh 42, it IS in profile settings! Go to your Control Panel, check under “Email Settings” and deselect “Enable email notifications by default when you post messages.” My box just down here is always unchecked.

And THAT folks, is an example of how you could ask a question/make a suggestion if you had such a thing to do. That was totally planned and scripted by 42 and I as a demonstrative learning experience. Completely. 100%. And now YOU know how to do that too!

Meh, this one is just fine. Certain aspects of the layout are funky, but overall it works.

Hey guys/Ethan, the Ask Axe Cop page doesn’t display Ask Axe Cop 16. Just a heads up.

I noticed that too, actually. I might email him about that actually.

EDIT: Fixed. Now no one can say this thread is useless, haha.

Re: the site redesign, in the other thread Ethan mentioned taking the comics off the front page & just having links to give equal prominence. I’d personally prefer to see something ComicPress-style, with the comic on the front page and the blog underneath (like it is now, except without having to view through that narrow window). You could set up an “Axe Cop” category for the main storyline and a separate “Ask Axe Cop” category; the main page would display whichever was most recent, and navigation links would give the option go back to the most recent strip chronologically or the most recent strip in the same category.
