Hello Kids,

Do you know what time it is? That’s right, it’s the “Let us rant about our roommate” power hour!

Okay, but in all seriousness he’s really beginning to get under my skin. Before I go on, sorry about the more-than-likely-unintelligble rant that is about to ensue….I just really need to write this somewhere, and I can’t complain about him on Facebook, since he’s on my friends list and all.
Okay, now for the rant.

My roommate, whom I will name ‘Bob’, at times seems to be bent on being a complete and utter jerk to me. He’s even admitted that to EVERYONE ELSE he’s kind to…but because I’m nicer than him, and he believes that he’s the ‘alpha male’ of the apartment, that he needs to use and abuse this ‘authority’ as much as possible. And if I try “fighting back”...He’ll be even more of a jerk to me, which includes, but is not limited to, him taking away the internet from me (which is actually only a minor concern right now) because his grandma is paying for it, and the only way I can connect is to use his ethernet cable… Him just randomly insulting me for no apparent reason, though I’m not too upset about this ‘cause I sometimes insult myself if I know that doing so will make people laugh, PLUS he knows that I have a crush on one of my friends, and that I’m afraid if I tell her my feelings, things will become awkward between us and I’ll have just ruined a really wonderful friendship. So, he always holds that over my head as to ‘keep me in line.’ I mean, he can be a cool guy to hang out with, just a few hours ago we were playing left 4 dead together and having a generally good time, but those times are WAY TOO FAR AND INBETWEEN…And to top it all off, he told me today that the entire reason he’s being the way he is to me is so that I will ‘grow a spine’...which is just some bullcrap line he is probably telling himself to make him feel better.

There’s more I could rant about, but I’m probably just gonna take a shower, read a book, and head to bed.

...Sorry, but I just had to get that off of my chest…

Might want to change the swearing a bit Frup (if you don’t mind me calling you Frup, haha). Never know when Malachi could randomly choose this read to up his vocab.

Get a new roommate, haha. That’s ridiculous. Some people are just complete douchebags, through and through. Sucks, but that’s life.

Yeah, it’s okay to call me Frup. Also, I’m pretty sure that I got all of the cussing out of my post, I was gonna edit it out later anyways…Anywho, there have been a few times when I’ve thought about getting a new roommate, but knowing how half the people that go to my school are, he’s probably the lesser of however many evils. I don’t really expect any advice, though I’m definitely grateful for any that is given, I just wanted to rant here before I did anything incredibly stupid. Though, I do have to say, that I’m feeling better now, I guess I was just tired, and ‘Bob’ being Bob wasn’t helping matters any.

If you have no other option, I would recommend toughing it out for now. Do you have any friends to stay with instead?

I still haven’t taken a good photo of mine. I wish I still had my mirrored aviators though. That woulda been a sweet photo.

Also, unrelated, the current Van/LA hockey game is STRESSING ME THE EFF OUT.

We just won. Thank goodness. That was giving me stress nausea.

(I don’t usually watch hockey of my own accord, but when I’m in the room and it’s on… hard to ignore.)

Not a sports fan myself, but I do like hockey. Tried playing once, wasn’t ice though. I sucked at it.

I am not an athlete, and I am generally not a sports fan, but if hockey is on, especially Canadian National or Canucks hockey, I will watch it. And I will yell.

I never really understood the passion in watching a sport. Maybe if you were there, but on tv? Doesn’t click for me.

I really only get belligerent at roller derby matches.
